All cattle surgeries are completed on-farm. Attention to cleanliness and aseptic nature is important when performing on-farm surgeries. When surgery is necessary, our veterinary team will dictate the necessary facilities and cleanliness needed for an optimum outcome for the patient.
Common surgeries on-farm include DA (displaced abomasum) correction; Caesarian-section (C-section); laceration and udder laceration repair; General exploratory abdominal surgery; and Caslick's procedures.
